For more than 25 years, Dr. Steven Salmi has consulted to a broad range of organizations, from Fortune 50 companies to growth-oriented startups. He works closely with organizations to identify, develop, and retain the talent needed to compete in this economy. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing talent management systems, including employee retention, multi-rater feedback, leadership development programs, succession planning, competency modeling, and performance management.
Steve serves as a trusted advisor a wide range of industries, with concentrations in manufacturing, health, retail, education, and professional service firms. He has expertise working with technical, sales, and leadership positions.
Steve is a member of Vistage, Minnesota Vistage Champions, the American Psychological Association (APA), Human Resources Executive Forum, and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC-MN).
Steve earned his MA and PhD in Psychology from the Ohio State University. He has presented at national conferences and professional workshops on topics such as executive selection, succession planning, and team effectiveness, and he is published in numerous periodicals and scientific journals.
